The Mediaeval Garden
In the heart of historic Uzes, at the foot of the King's and Bishop's Towers (XII century), discover the Mediaeval Garden. It is a living herbarium and within its tranquil confines, lilies and roses, symbols of religion and love, grow alongside cereals and vegetables valued for their medicinal and other properties.
In this "Secret Garden", symbolique and regenerative, you will discover a wide variety of plants used in the Middle Ages particularly those adapted to our region, climate and soil and amongst them, fresques, wall paintings and resting places.
