In the shade of the Bishop's tower, cohabit medicinal plants: mallow , marigold, comfrey; magical plants: mandrake, henbane, datura. Roses, lilies, jasmine, primarily ornamental, had an essential place in gardens, literature, poetry and art.
They were also used in cosmetics and perfumes. In this garden, the plantations are delimited using a chestnut arbour and wicker trellises and the garden and courtyard are separated by willow fencing.
