Markets and fairs
  Three weekly markets take place in the Uzège throughout the year:
• Wednesday mornings in Uzès, some fifty regular stallholders come to the « growers market » on the Place aux Herbes
• Friday morning, at Saint Quentin la Poterie, on the Place des Halles
• Saturday morning, at Uzès, « Grand Marché » with 200 stallholders on the Place aux Herbes and the boulevards.
The Fairs reflect the seasons at Uzès:
« la Foire aux porcs gras » - fattened pigs - (1st Saturday in February),
« la Foire à l'ail » - garlic -, Summer Fair,
« la Foire de la Saint Firmin » or
« la Foire aux poulains » - foals - and
« la Foire aux vins » (more than 30 000 visitors each year).
