Flaux

Situated deep in a valley, off the road to Bagnols sur Cèze, the origins of the commune of Flaux date back to the Roman era. Its antiquity is confirmed across the centuries: Mansus de Flaus, villa de Flaux, Llaucium, then Flausium and finally Flaux (1549).

In the park of its perfectly restored 18th century château, activities and performances punctuate the tourist season.

Flaux's population, spread out between the farm and secondary sectors, has been rising gradually for the past twenty years or so.
Country lodges and seasonal rentals ensure satisfactory accommodation capacity.
