Saint-Siffret

Sun drenched Saint Siffret rises up from its rocky overhang against a backdrop of browns and greens. With its two renovated chateaus rising peacefully out of the valley, Saint Siffret appears to visitors as an old village lost in the shadows of ages. Its end of the 12th century Romano-Byzantine church possesses typically Provencal ornamentation.

The historic centre of Saint Siffret with its narrow streets and beautiful authentically restored houses gives this village an irresistible charm. Its plateau of garrigues, where fragrant blends of lavender, rockrose, thyme and honeysuckle form a palette of colours into which merge magnificent mansions.

To see :
 • Romano-Byzantine church (end of 12th century)
 • Ruins of a château (12th century)
 • Small fortified door (12th century)

Visit of Saint-Siffret in summer.
