12 - Hôtel du Baron de Castille

Built by Gabriel Joseph de Froment d'Argilliers, Baron of Castille, who was born in Uzès in 1747.
He was an open-minded man who loved travelling and quickly fell in love with pillars as can be seen from the building's impressive peristyle.
He was also responsible for the pillars of the Racine Pavilion and the Château d'Argilliers.
